Uponor FastGuard

Uponor FastGuard fulfills the same standards as complete pipes. 

The classification is SRS according to the guideline EBR KJ 41:21 Kabelförläggning max 145kV. The Swedish standard SS 424 14 37 defines mechanical strength requirements for cable protection in certain installation conditions (normal, difficult). SPF Verksnorm 5200 defines the test methods to fulfill the standard. The mechanical requirements are defined by two tests:

- Ringstiffness
- Impact strength

The cable protection pipes are classified to SRN (Skydd, Rör, Normala förhållanden) or SRS (Skydd, Rör, Svåra förhållanden). The EBR guideline adopts these designations and in addition defines SRE (Skydd, Rör, Extra svåra förhållanden) for cable protection above ground.

The pipes are packed on a standard EUR pallet with supporting wooden frame. The unique stacking feature allows the halves to be stacked and delivered as separated pieces, with every other layer containing locks already preassembled. This enables fast installation, as there is no need to disassemble already locked pipes.

The unique packaging method gives a stable and compact packaging solution.
