Church construction stages
In May 1999 works on the church substractures started. Roman Zero from Bielsko Podlaski was choosen for the construction manager, and the main foremen were Peter and Bogdan Zabloccy of Rudki near Branska. The church was built economically. In addition to permanent staff also members of parish community helped in works. Thanks to involvement and generosity of many people, site works progressed quickly. While the Ecumenical Devotion Drohiczyn, Holy Father Pope John Paul II blessed the foundation stone from the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem.
In 2000 Fr. Bishop Anthony Dydycz laid the foundation stone of the church.
From 3rd November 2001 St. Hubert has been honored in the parish, the patron Saint of hunters. His image blessed by Fr. The Bishop to be placed later in a special chapel in new church.
In 2002 site works in the church were proceeding quickly; there were floored in the church.
In the years 2005 -2007 bricklaying was finished, works on high spires started (together with the height of the towers they should achieve 38m). Also terraces were located there.
In the spring of 2008, works on electrification, radio and plastering of the church were made. Then underfloor heating Uponor Tacker system was installed on the area of 560m2. MLC pipe was used for the installation by Miazgasan - contractor from Siemiatycze – authorized installer that have been cooperating with Uponor since 12 years. Huge involvement in the project, technical support and Uponorian competences were appreciated by the parson.
