No. Many settings are stored in the communication module and will get lost if you remove the communication module.
The Uponor Smatrix room controller requires no manual preventive maintenance except cleaning. Use a dry soft cloth to clean the components.

The room controller is equipped with an automatic exercise function. This function consists of a test run designed to prevent the pump and actuators from seizing up due to inactivity.
Corrective maintenance
If a thermostat is malfunctioning or not detected, the room controller executes a fallback mode to maintain the temperature in the room (heating mode only) until the problem is resolved.

To use Amazon Alexa Voice Control you need to create an Amazon Alexa Account, so the SKILLs of Uponor Smatrix Pulse in your Alexa account can be activated. For this account you would also need an Uponor account.

This account is needed for internet connection of your Uponor Smatrix Pulse room controller. It activates a number of functions such as Remote access and Software updates.

To use Amazon Alexa Voice Control you need to create an Amazon Alexa Account, so the SKILLs of Uponor Smatrix Pulse in your Alexa account can be activated. For this account you would also need an Uponor account.
To re-connect your Uponor Smatrix Pulse to wireless internet (WiFi), please open the Uponor Smatrix Pulse App and press the "Reset connection" button in the networks settings or network connection failed error message.
The trends give an overview of how well the system works.
Trends show temperature and utilisation factor for the last 7 days using diagrams.
- The diagram is showing indoor temperature and setpoint temperature
for a room as well as outdoor temperature (if an outdoor sensor is installed), and humidity (if available).
- The diagram is showing a utilisation factor per room, for the previous
full week (updated every Monday at 0:00). The factor is the percentage of time when the actuator has been opened.
