GF Building Flow Solutions processes personal data about the user (“User”) of Smatrix Pulse (“Portal”).The Portal is used as a user management system to connect users to other GF Building Flow Solutions’ applications. Personal data can only be processed for a specific purpose under a valid legal basis.
The personal data may be used by GF Building Flow Solutions and on its behalf for the following purposes:
The legal basis for processing the user’s personal data is the performance of the agreement between the user and GF Building Flow Solutions concerning the use of the Portal and the services it provides (see article 6.1(b) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679, the “GDPR”). In some instances, GF Building Flow Solutions may also process the user’s personal data based on its legitimate interests to analyse how the Portal is used, further develop it, and to market its products and services (see article 6.1(f) of the GDPR). GF Building Flow Solutions processes personal data about the user (“User”) of Smatrix Pulse (“Portal”).The Portal is used as a user management system to connect users to other GF Building Flow Solutions’ applications. The personal data may be used by GF Building Flow Solutions and on its behalf for the following purposes:
- Connecting the User’s account and its details through Smatrix Pulse in order to log in to other GF Building Flow Solutions’ applications
- maintenance and development of the Portal (including remote access by GF Building Flow Solutions personnel for maintenance purposes) and GF Building Flow Solutions products and services, including other GF Building Flow Solutions’ apps,
- marketing and communication purposes such as for conducting marketing research, direct marketing, automated marketing, informing Users of new features, new products or launches, and special promotions;
- upholding and developing the User relationship;
- exercising GF Building Flow Solutions’ rights;
- performing GF Building Flow Solutions‘ obligations towards User and handling, evaluating and enforcing Users’ or GF Building Flow Solutions’ obligations or liabilities; and
- statistical and analytical purposes.

- To companies belonging to the Georg Fischer group in accordance with a contract entered into between the relevant GF entities, incorporating the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, which ensure that adequate data protection arrangements are in place;
- authorized third parties to the extent they participate in the processing of personal data for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy. The personal data may be processed by such authorized third parties also outside EU or EEA in accordance with a contract entered into between Uponor Corporation and/or its affiliate and such authorized third party, incorporating the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or other appropriate safeguards for data transfers as listed in the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which ensure that adequate data protection arrangements are in place. Uponor Corporation shall oblige such third parties to keep confidential and adequately secure any such transferred personal data; or
- based on consent; or
- as otherwise permitted by applicable legislation.
