Helsingin Siilitien ja Kulosaaren välisellä metroradalla toteutettiin uraauurtava sähköremontti syksyllä 2024. Tavoitteena oli parantaa metroradan sähkönsyöttöä ja varmistaa sen toimivuus myös vikojen aikana osana laajempaa rengasverkkoratkaisua. Hankkeessa käytettiin Uponorin kehittämää FastGuard-kaapelinsuojausta, joka on kevyt, kestävä ja nopea asentaa.

1960-70 luvuilla rakennettu betoninen maaviemärilinja Vierimaantiellä Ylivieskassa sijaitsee lähellä keskustaa. Tämän vuoksi saneeraus päätettiin toteuttaa räätälöidyllä ratkaisulla johon kehitetty tuote on nyt myös muiden saatavilla.

Hietasärkän vedenottamo kuuluu Suomussalmen vesihuoltojärjestelmään, jonka tehtävänä on varmistaa puhtaan juomaveden riittävyys kuntalaisten tarpeisiin. Vesijohtoverkoston korroosiovaurioita torjuttiin aikaisemmin lipeän avulla, mutta turvallisuusriskien vuoksi sen tilalle vaihdettiin kemikaalivapaa menetelmä. Samassa yhteydessä vedenottamolla tehtiin laaja kokonaissaneeraus.

Yhteensä 66km ProFuse paineputkea asennettiin merenpohjaan Uuteenkaupunkiin.

Pöyry Finland Oy sai tehtäväkseen uudistaa hulevesijärjestelmän vaativassa kohteessa, jossa tilat ovat myös erittäin ahtaat. Hulevesien virtaaman tasaussäiliönä toimii nyt mittatilaustyönä valmistettu pitkä ja kapea Weholite-säiliö.

Vääksyläisen leipomon piha-asfaltoinnin edellytyksenä oli hulevesien imeyttäminen ja puhdistaminen tontilla.

Suomessa oli herätty siihen, että hulevedet kuormittavat vesistöjä ravinteilla ja raskasmetalleilla. Lahden Vesijärvessä tilanne oli erityisen paha fosforin osalta. Lahden kaupunki näki Ranta-Kartanossa tilaisuuden suunnitella asuinalue niin, että osa alueesta varataan hulevesien käsittelyyn. Ranta-Kartanon hulevesien hallinnassa testataan Uponorin valmistamia suodattimia, jotka viivyttävät ja puhdistavat valumavesiä.

 

Vantaalla sijaitsevan Volvon keskusvaraston uusi lastaus- ja pysäköintialue asfaltoitiin, joten hulevedet oli saatava johdettua alueelta pois tehokkaasti ja luotettavasti. Ratkaisuksi valittiin Uponorin uudet IQ-imeytysputket.

Rakokiven monitoimitaloon Lahden Nastolassa asennettiin Uponorin IQ-hulevesiratkaisu niin nopeasti, että se yllätti jokaisen mukana olleen.

Kajaanissa uusitaan virheellisen asennuksen vuoksi rikkoutunut paineviemäri sujuttamalla. Varma ja nopea menetelmä tulee kohteessa myös edullisemmaksi kuin kaivaminen.

Tavoitteena on sitä kautta vähentää hulevesitunneleista rakennetun viivytysjärjestelmän huoltokustannuksia ja estää kiintoainesten joutumista vesistöihin.
 

Ultra Rib 2 Blue -putket tuotiin ensimmäiseksi markkinoille Ruotsissa, jossa putkia on tänä vuonna asennettu jo useampaan kohteeseen. Suomessa pilottiasennus tehtiin alkusyksystä Lahden Jalkarannan kaupunginosassa, muutaman kilometrin päässä Lahden keskustasta.

Hulevesien laadun hallinta on viime vuosina noussut yhä tärkeämmäksi osaksi kaupunkien hulevesistrategioita. Heinolassa käynnistettiin pilottihanke, jossa hulevesiä puhdistetaan Uponorin kehittämillä innovatiivisilla suodatinkaivoilla. Samalla kerätään arvokasta tutkimustietoa kahden erityyppisen alueen hulevesien laadusta sekä suodatinkaivoilla saavutettavista puhdistustuloksista.
 

Kymen Vesi saneeraa vuosittain muutamia kilometrejä vanhaa vesijohto- ja viemäriverkostoaan.
Loppusyksystä 2018 vuorossa oli Kotkaan yli 50 vuotta sitten asennettu valurautainen vesijohto, joka oli
ehtinyt jo muutaman kerran vuotaa. Kestävä ProFuse RC -putki takasi turvallisesti sujuneen saneerauksen
ja varman lopputuloksen kohteessa, johon omat haasteensa toivat tarkat liikennejärjestelyt, sillä
saneerattu linja on Suomen suurimpaan yleissatamaan johtavalla tiealueella.

The modernisation of the wastewater treatment plant is a key task of the project "Comprehensive modernization of wastewater treatment plant in Opole along with improvement of water and wastewater management".

Tavallisessa alle tuhannen asukkaan kylässä ei omaa alavesisäiliötä välttämättä tarvittaisi, mutta Tuuri ei ole ihan tavallinen kylä. Tosi-tv-sarjastakin tuttu Tuurin kyläkauppa vetää paikalle vuosittain jopa kuusi miljoonaa kävijää. Kylän vesihuollon varmistavat nyt myös vilkkaimpana lomasesonkina uudet, satakuutioiset Weholite-alavesisäiliöt.

Hennalan entinen varuskunta-alue Lahdessa saa uuden elämän puistomaisena asuin- ja työpaikka-alueena. Sadan vuoden ajan varuskuntakäytössä olleelta alueelta on poistettu pilaantuneita maa-aineksia, mutta riskejä ei haluttu ottaa tämän jälkeenkään. The project, scheduled for delivery by May 2020, will help to finally solve flooding problems which have been plaguing the residents of this region of Poland.

 

In Slagelse Municipality, there are requirements for the drainage of rainwater and wastewater to be separated, and therefore it was important that the wastewater solution on the street, Nordre Ringgade, was also updated in accordance with current legislation. The client has received an approved solution where the wastewater from the commercial property in no. 59 has been separated from the rainwater. The rainwater is now diverted directly from the 2,500 m2 car park.

Laajassa Lapinmaassa kyläpuhdistamoille olisi käyttöä muuallakin: välimatkat ovat pitkiä ja puhdistamot ovat usein järkevämpi vaihtoehto kuin jätevesien kuljettaminen kymmenien kilometrien päähän.

Oulun Energia saneerasi Toppilan voimalaitosalueensa sprinklerijakelujohtoja ja palovesiverkostoja ajan tasalle. Sammutusvettä on saatava kaikissa olosuhteissa, joten rakennusten ulkopuolisissa osissa käytettiin jäätymättömiä, esieristettyjä ja lämmitettäviä Wehoarctic-putkielementtejä.

Lahti Energia käyttää työmaillaan ensimmäisenä Suomessa kaariputkia. Kokemukset ovat olleet erittäin hyviä.

Lahden Vipusenkadulla uusittiin kaukolämpöverkkoa. Kaivantoon on laskettu isoja kahdentoista ja kuudentoista metrin DN 300 -putkia. Hitsaajat ovat ryhtymässä töihin. Jokin jää kuitenkin askarruttamaan ohikulkijan mieltä.

Samaan aikaan toisaalla, keskustasta Launeelle johtavalla kaukolämpölinjalla operoidaan hieman tuhdimpien DN 400 -putkien kanssa. Täälläkin sama juttu. Aivan kuin kaikki putket eivät olisi ihan suoria?

Eteläpohjalaisten kuntien, Kurikan ja Jurvan, kuntaliitos Kurikan kaupungiksi vuonna 2009 oli alku myös laajalle jätevesiverkoston saneeraukselle. Kolmen vuoden aikana kunnostetaan noin 12 kilometriä vanhoja betoniputkia VipLiner-sujutustekniikalla.

Keski-Uudellamaalla sujutusmenetelmä on saanut hyvän jalansijan putkistosaneerauksissa. Tekniikan kätevyys ja taloudellisuus on toki huomattu muuallakin.

Iisalmen Vesi saneerasi runkolinjan, jonka kunto oli kohtuullinen mutta riskit suuret. Saneerauksessa vältyttiin vanhan himaniittiputken käsittelyltä, sillä putket uusittiin sujuttamalla koko parin kilometrin pituudelta.

Uuden biovoimalaitoksen palojätevedet kerätään Weholite-säiliöön, jonka Uponor suunnitteli kohteeseen.

Lopen kunnassa sijaitsevan Launosten päiväkodin laajennuksen yhteydessä valuma- eli hulevesien käsittely kehitetään uudelle mallille.

Vantaan jätevoimalan hulevesiratkaisuksi valittiin satametriset Weholite-säiliöt.

Suomen Partiolaiset, Finlands Scouter ry:n kansainvälinen Roihu 2016 VII Finnjamboree järjestettiin 20.–28.7.2016 Hämeenlinnassa Evon retkeilyalueella. Metsähallituksen omistamalle metsäalueelle rakentui leiri 17 100 osallistujalle, joista 3 000 saapui ulkomailta, noin 40 eri maasta. Uponor toimitti alueelle 7 600 metriä putkia, joilla varmistettiin puhtaan veden saanti ja harmaiden vesien johtaminen hallitusti pois alueelta.

Kuokkalaan avattiin marraskuussa 2013 kehäväylä. Väylälle asennettiin 2 kilometriä Uponorin IQ-hulevesiputkea, 250 kaivoa ja 5 kilometriä salaojaputkea.
