Tähän mennessä Uponorin suurin Suomeen toimittama tehdasvalmisteinen säiliö, sisähalkaisijaltaan 3,4-metrinen ja pituudeltaan noin 20-metrinen Weholite-sprinklerisäiliö, varmistaa pian paloturvallisuuden sahayhtiö Haapajärven Ha-Sa Oy:n pienpuulinjalla. Suurikokoinen säiliö on mitoitettu niin, että jatkossa
säiliöjärjestelmään voivat liittyä lähistöllä olevat muutkin yritykset.

Keljonlahden voimalaitoksen jäähdytysvesiputkiston rakentaminen alkoi joulukuussa 2008. Jäähdytysvesiputkistoksi valittiin 3000/3300 mm Weholite-putki. Koko jäähdytysveden otto- ja purkuputken yhteispituus on 1 714 metriä.

Weholite -säiliöt, joiden sisähalkaisija on kolme metriä, toimitetaan Riihimäen jätevedenpuhdistamolle Etelä -Suomeen, varmistavat laitoksen toiminnan myös hätätilanteissa.

This patented facility combines the best from both traditional ocean net-pens and land-based salmon farming. The intake and outfall lines are built with highly durable Weholite PE pipes and panels with a 100-year life span.

Slotted drainage VipLiner module made by Uponor Infra has been chosen to build a drainage system for heat and power station of Gdynia.

One of Europe’s largest power plants is being built in Kozienice in central Poland. Uponor Infra pipes and manholes were used when building the raw water line.

For many years Uponor Infra has suppplied KGHM with high-quality polyethylene piping systems that transport water and slurry.

For almost 20 years, Uponor Infra has assisted the Polish mining conglomerate KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. in modernising Europe’s largest tailings pond.

Positive experiences of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. with transport of post-flotation waste determined the decision to use the PEHD systems for the transport of slurry supernatants from the tailings pond.

Weholite technology was used for the construction of a penstock (water transmission pipeline) for a new small hydro power plant in the city of Cieszyn.

The technological pipelines transporting the brine washed out during the construction of underground gas storage facility followed by its discharge into the Puck Bay.

To ensure failure-free operation of a raw water system, a polyethylene-made pipeline (PEHD) with a length of approximately 9 km was installed (in mining damage conditions), of which 3 km uses the trenchless technique – relining.

WehoSlurry polyethylene pipes with an additional, internal slurry layer, provided an optimum solution for hydrotransporting ash to the Bełchatów Power Plant’s disposal site.

As tall as an apartment building. A diameter of 22 metres. A volume of 3,500 cubic metres. FishGLOBE V5, a fish farming facility built and delivered to FishGLOBE AS in Stavanger in southwestern Norway, is the world’s largest PE plastic structure designed for marine conditions.

Uusi kuivanmaan kalanviljelylaitos, joka tuottaa täydellä kapasiteetilla toimiessaan 3 200 tonnia kirjolohta vuosittain, on rakenteilla Eckerössä Ahvenanmaalla. Uponor Infra on ollut mukana suunnittelamassa laitosta ja toimittaa nyt putket asennettuna.

Suomen metsäteollisuuden suurimman investoinnin kohde on valmistunut. Metsägroupin sellutehdas Äänekoskella aloitti toimintansa elokuussa 2017. Uponor Infra oli mukana rakentamassa uuden sukupolven biotehdasta.

Uponor delivers tanks for a ground-breaking development project at Vestforbrænding

The project involves a great deal of sewerage work, as the former farmland is now being prepared for industrial purposes.

Weholite’s ability to withstand external wear, such as friction against the seabed, was an important criterion when the outfall pipe of Stora Enso’s pulp and paper mill in Nymölla, southern Sweden, had to be replaced.

 

 

 The district cooling system in Helsingborg involves the streamlining of current production. By means of seawater and using heat from the district heating network to power an absorption cooling unit, district cooling provides much better environmental values than electric cooling units. The district cooling station is an efficient source of cooling for buildings, industrial facilities and shopping centres.

 

Stora Enso Nymölla Mill in southern Sweden produces pulp- and wood-free uncoated paper and is the second largest paper manufacturing company in Europe. Nymölla Mill belongs to the "Paper" division and has an annual capacity of 340,000 tonnes of pulp and 485,000 tonnes of paper. The mill started in 1962 and has 540 employees. The paper manufactured by Nymölla Mill is recyclable, renewable and biodegradable. Approximately 90% of Nymölla Bruk's paper brands have eco-label certification that certifies the products' reduced environmental impact during the product's life cycle. Paper products from Stora Enso are available all over the world.
