The stock exchange release announced today at 13.30 EET used an old name of the investment fund company and the reason for the increase in ownership was mentioned to be share purchase rather than a merger of investment fund companies, which is the right reason. Uponor Corporation has today received a notification referred to in Chapter 9, Section 5 of the Securities Market Act from Nordea Funds Oy, a Finnish subsidiary with a business id 1737785-9, stating that the company’s ownership and share of votes in Uponor Corporation (ISIN code FI0009002158) has reached 5 per cent.
As a result of a merger of investment fund companies, the total holding and voting power of Nordea Funds Oy grew from 3,653,115 shares to 3,713,100 shares, representing an ownership of 5.072%, on 2 January 2014. Uponor Corporation’s total number of shares amounts to 73,206,944 shares.
