Minna Schrey-Hyppänen appointed EVP Human Resources at Uponor Corporation
Uponor Corporation’s Board of Directors has appointed M.Sc. (Eng.) and M.Sc. (Econ) Minna Schrey-Hyppänen (47) Executive Vice President, Human Resources at Uponor Corporation. She will also be member of the Executive Committee, reporting to President and CEO Jyri Luomakoski. Schrey-Hyppänen will be responsible for Uponor’s human resources related activities groupwide.
Schrey-Hyppänen comes from the forest industry company UPM, where she has served since 2010 as VP, HR and People Development. Prior to that, she served Nokia Corporation for five years in various HR roles, worked two years as consultant at VIA Group, and prior to that, for Sonera/Telecom Finland between the years 1990 and 2003.
Her experience includes a versatile combination of business and HR roles, with a focus on leadership, talent management and competence development.
Minna Schrey-Hyppänen owns 2,500 Uponor shares and joins the company on 23 September 2013.
