Uponor acquires the remaining shares in Zent-Frenger

Uponor Holding GmbH, a subsidiary of Uponor Corporation, has yesterday acquired the remaining 49.7% of the shares in the German company Zent-Frenger Gesellschaft für Gebäudetechnik mbH. This is in accordance with the contract signed in the spring 2011, when Uponor acquired a 50.3% share in the company. Zent-Frenger develops, manufactures, and markets heating and cooling as well as geothermal technology solutions mainly for the public and commercial sectors of the market. It is one of the German market leaders in its field.

Uponor aims to strengthen its position within the commercial and public building sectors in Central Europe. The Zent-Frenger acquisition has brought onboard new technology and new project and supply chain expertise, meeting Uponor’s strategic needs, as well as a new range of product offerings that Uponor can benefit from in Germany and in other markets.
