Changes to Uponor's Executive Committee
A member of Uponor Corporation's Executive Committee, Georg von Graevenitz
(63), Executive Vice President, Group Marketing, responsible for group
marketing and communications, and the Infrastructure Solutions, will retire on
a part-time basis as of 1 October 2010, and completely towards the end of 2011.
As of 1 September, he will leave the Executive Committee and work as Executive
Advisor, reporting to the President and CEO, until his retirement. Group
marketing and communications will continue reporting to him as before.
As of 1 September, Robin Carlsson (44), M.Sc. (Tech), a citizen of Sweden, will
be appointed a member of the Executive Committee, responsible for
Infrastructure Solutions. Since 2008, he has been leading the infrastructure
business under Mr Graevenitz. Mr Carlsson will also be responsible for
technology development in Uponor Group as well as the European product and
systems development.
In addition, from 1 September, Uponor's Executive Committee will undergo the
following changes concerning the European Building Solutions business:
- Heiko Folgmann, Executive Vice President, Central & Eastern Europe,
responsible for sales and marketing in the region, will assume responsibility
for the Indoor Climate Solutions business group in addition to his current
responsibilities.
- Fernando Roses, Executive Vice President, North, South & West Europe,
responsible for sales and marketing in the region, will assume responsibility
for the Plumbing Solutions business group in addition to his current
responsibilities.
These changes will contribute towards the further development of the Building
Solutions organisation in Europe, with the aim of speeding up decision-making
and bringing the customer interface and offering development closer together.
In connection with this organisational restructuring, Jukka Kallioinen,
Executive Vice President, Development and Technology, and responsible for
offering and business groups, will leave the company.
