Pursuant to the decision of Uponor Corporation's Board of Directors, announced
on 26 April 2007, the cancellation of 16,500 shares held by the company has
been registered with the Finnish Trade Register today. Following the
cancellation the number of shares in the company is 73,206,944. The
cancellation has no effect on the share capital of the company.
