Developed by Uponor, this new solution takes the guesswork and freelancing out of piping installations. Each kit, which includes all the needed ProPEX® fittings, adapters, valves, and rings, is delivered to the job site — one kit per room or apartment — along with a material list and an isometric layout for the installer to follow, helping to minimize mistakes and maximize efficiency.
The building located at Calle Tutor 16 (Madrid), owned by Arquia Inmuebles, has undergone a complete renovation and modernization, being partially demolished with the façade stabilized. A project designed by Tuñón y Albornoz Arquitectos and executed by SANJOSE Constructora, where the integration of Uponor's Invisible Air Conditioning in the Matrics raised technical floor developed by company Subway Systems.
About 1 km of Weholite pipes were installed in Philippines as cooling water intake and outfall pipelines for the Petron Bataan Refinery (PBR). The Project Service team at Uponor Infra offered a turnkey solutions for the project.

Challenging environment - high standards for the solution
Challenging weather, demanding underwater conditions and logistical challenges in remote areas of the North Atlantic create the harsh working conditions confronting the Danish salmon industry. That is also why a Faroese producer of breeding rings, KJ, sets high standards for its supplier´s solutions.Easily handled pipes are essential when producing breeding rings at the site where they will be used. Whether the rings are to be used in the Faroe Islands, Shetland Islands, Iceland or the United Kingdom, the related large pipes need to be moved easily, due to difficult access roads and limited welding space. That is why it is so crucial that they are light.
In addition to pulp, the Äänekoski factory produces bio-products such as pine oil, turpentine and biogas. Metsä Group has invested 1.2 billion euros in the new factory, which is the largest investment in the history of Finland’s forestry industry. Uponor Infra delivered most of the project’s municipal infrastructure – the water, sewage and storm water pipes, the wells, and their parts. The deliveries also included an over one-kilometre-long Weholite outfall pipe for cooling water.
A new Weholite pump station – one of the largest high-density polyethylene pump stations in North America – meets the existing increase and future sanitary sewer demands in the Montgomery Borough of Pennsylvania, United States.
