    During 2009, Stökhagen community in Fittja, Stockholm, replaced their old pipe-work with Uponor Pre-insulated pipe system. The house-owners did not have to move out during the maintenance period.Consisting of 78 link-attached houses, the area was built up in 1971. The house-owners had for many years had problems with steel and copper pipe corrosion. Eventually, the corrosion caused so much trouble that it could no longer be solved by isolated measures. The whole pipe-work needed to be replaced.

    Despite having no previous experience of working with Uponor Ecoflex pipes, installers Miljöentreprenören AB found the system ideal for this kind of project. “Working with Uponor Ecoflex pipes was great”, says Jan Åberg from Miljöentreprenören AB. “It was flexible, easy to handle and fast to connect. And the house-owners did not have to move out during the maintenance period. They also had access to tap water and heating the whole time”.

    Weber Hill Villas

    The Weber Hill Villas are comprised of 24 attached and detached single-family homes nestled along a quiet forest with lot sizes ranging from one-quarter to one acre. The multipurpose fire sprinkler systems seamlessly integrate into the home’s cold-water plumbing system, which increases the speed of installation and provides homeowners with greater peace of mind.
