"Het project is ontwikkeld rond de prachtige monumentale villa ‘van Heijst’. Dit pand, dat de kern van het nieuwbouwproject is, huisvestte voorheen de scheikundefaculteit van de TU Delft, gevolgd door een groep krakers, die er tot de start van de renovatie een riant onderdak vonden. Ondanks deze ongenode gasten, bleven vele authentieke elementen van het markante gebouw uit 1868 bewaard.
Na de renovatie is de villa omgetoverd tot 20 studenteneenheden. Door de nieuwe galerijwoningen, waaruit het overgrote deel van het project bestaat, in een U-vorm rond de villa te bouwen en het monumentale trappenhuis als schakel tussen het gerenoveerde en het nieuw gebouwde deel van het project in te zetten, gaan oud en nieuw naadloos in elkaar over. De gebruikte bakstenen en verschillende metselverbanden in de gevel geven het geheel een bijzondere, eigentijdse uitstraling. Dit project is een ware lust voor het oog.
Naast de prachtige uitstraling van het pand, kenmerkt het complex zich tevens door een aangenaam leefklimaat. Het complex is namelijk voorzien van Uponor vloerverwarming. Dit heeft naast een aangename, gelijkmatige temperatuur, tevens een strakke, overzichtelijke ruimte tot gevolg. Radiatoren zijn immers verleden tijd."

Woontorens brengen bouwkundige uitdagingen met zich mee, waaronder een verhoogde druk op de leidingen. Nathan kwam met een kosteneffectieve oplossing.
Oval Village
As part of a close collaboration with Berkeley and Malcolm Building Services, Uponor has supplied its Uni-Pipe PLUS multilayer composite pipe (MLCP) and S-Press PLUS fittings to the Oval Village development in central London. The Uponor system was selected over copper due to its ease of installation, reliability of testing and the technical support provided by Uponor.
Refurbishment of a prefabricated building
During the renovation of a prefabricated building in Zwickau, Robinienweg, a low installation height stood in contrast to the desire for more energy efficiency and comfort through underfloor heating. The Bävern block, located in the center of Karlstad, is a residential building that was completed in early 2023. Apartment building Varsta Oy
Line renovations in blocks of flats can be conducted significantly faster and more easily. The Uponor R2I cassette makes for a problem-free renovation. Thanks to advanced prefabrication, the project period is shorter and the risks are lower. The As Oy Varsta company in Turku is the first R2I pilot site. The site will be completed to an expedited schedule.

The Petreliuksenrinne housing company controls a group of residential buildings that were constructed in 1969. The company manages 124 flats, which were subject to an overhaul of their water supply and sewerage systems. The floor drains, bathrooms, electricity distribution and antenna systems were also overhauled.

Postitalo, the former post office building in downtown Tampere, got a new look in 2017 when it was renovated into new commercial premises and a block of flats was built on top. An 8-storey apartment is rising in a former bank district in Lahti. The target will contain 265 apartments and is designed by A1 Arkkitehdit Oy and will be built by Nuorisosäätiö. There are 256 rental apartments reserved for students on floors 2-7. Uponor R2I blocks will be installed in all of the student-apartments in connection with bathroom and kitchen elements. Aleksi 5 is the first new destination in which R2I blocks are being delivered and in which sound-absorbing Decibel drains are used.
