Weber Hill Villas

Corrosion damage to the water supply network was previously prevented with lye, but due to safety risks, it was replaced by a chemical-free method. At the same time, an extensive overall renovation was carried out at the water intake plant.

Ensuring In-Home Safety with AquaSAFE™

Jesse Faust, a former Madison firefighter and EMT, sustained partial paralysis after a severe car accident in 2022. During the construction of his new home, Faust prioritized fire safety, and after seeing how commercial buildings benefit from sprinkler systems, he chose to incorporate a residential solution with Uponor AquaSAFE™ — a multipurpose PEX piping system that combined with his home’s AquaPEX® plumbing.

Ease of installation is key

Weholite pipes are light and easy to install. They really come into their own in a project in the harbour of Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand – the extension of an old stormwater line using massivepipes with an internal diameter of 3–3.5 metres. In this busy harbour area, it is not possible to carry outlarge-scale excavation work. The soil of the region and strong tides pose their own challenges.
