Uponor, a leading provider of plumbing and hydronic heating and cooling systems, recently partnered with the American Red Cross for their Sound the Alarm volunteering event. Sound the Alarm rallies volunteers from communities around the United States to install smoke alarms in at-risk households.

Nate McIntosh, director of logistics and warehousing for Uponor, is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He has served since 1999, with four and a half years of active duty, and the rest in a reserve capacity. McIntosh holds the rank of Master Gunnery Sergeant and served as an engineer chief, but his current role is Senior Enlisted Advisor (SEA).

Doug Vetter, owner of Vetter Plumbing in Longview, Wash., was recently featured on Mechanical Hub's Appetite for Construction podcast. He was thrilled to share some of his stories about his love for plumbing and Uponor.
