Uponor Infra delivered fire water tanks for newly built shopping center Galeria Netun in Starogard Gdański


Neptun shopping mall located in the former shoe factory Neptun in Starogard Gdański is a modern three-storey shopping centre with the lease area of approx. 25000m2. In addition to retail premises, supermarkets and restaurants, the planned shopping mall will include a cinema and a fitness centre.

Uponor Infra delivered for this project 4 fire water tanks Weho of diameter dn3000mm, ring stiffness SN2, length of 11,15-32,84m and total capacity of 460m³. The tanks are to be used as a water reserve for the sprinkler system in the shopping mall and are filled from the municipal network. The water from the tanks is supplied to the pumping stations. The tanks are equipped with suction strainers, floating valves, liquid level sensors and emergency overflows. The individual segments of the tanks were installed under the extrusion welding method, carried out by Uponor Infra Service Group, ensuring the uniformity and tightness of the structure.

The completion date of construction of the shopping centre was planned for April/May 2015 r.
