Uponor Riser System – RS Modular – is an innovative and versatile pipework system for distribution lines and risers. It ensures simplicity and enables a whole-building solution for multilayer composite (MLC) pipe.
RS Modular fittings are suitable for heating applications up to 10 bar (80ºC) and domestic hot and cold water up to 10 bar (70ºC) and 16 bar for boosted cold water. The modular system allows the connection of pipework in sizes from 16mm to 110mm.

With RS Modular, all system installation requirements can be met with a range of just 39 different components, in contrast to the hundreds of different conventional pipe fittings needed for a typical installation.
The RS Modular system consists of base and insert pieces that can be combined to create 300 different options. As such, time spent on planning and designing the system is reduced and there are fewer building components to store, process and organise.
The system covers almost every installation situation and also offers a high degree of flexibility in the event of changes on the construction site. There are no restrictions on planning - this innovative connection system offers greater scope for creative thinking, with more design possibilities and the ability to adapt the system to the building architecture or circumvent other pipes or cables.
Depending on the pipe sizes on either side of the connection, the corresponding inserts are simply connected to the modular base part using a simple and secure click and lock process to create the required pipe fitting.
The fitting on the insert is then press-connected to the MLC pipe. This means that any sizes of pipe can be connected and bespoke angles achieved using a small range of components.
