Safe assembly on-site

Welded pipes destined to lie on the sea bed or pipes laid in other extreme environments require specialist skills. What's more, any project needs know-how within health, safety and the environment. That's what our field service is for.

It provides a full range of installation services – always focusing on safety and awareness of local requirements.

We provide service and equipment

Uponor Infra has solutions for connecting pressure piping systems up to a diameter of 1800 mm and gravity piping systems up to a diameter of 3000 mm. We have equipment for butt-fusion welding and extrusion welding as well as for the assembly of VipLiner modules. Our assortment also includes devices for controlling weld quality and parameters  as well as for leak testing. Our field services include:

  • Extrusion welding with an manual extruder and automatic welding with the WLI-3000 machine
  • Butt-fusion welding
  • Tanks tightness tests
  • Installation of VipLiner modules
  • Training of contractors on site in the field of extrusion welding
